An incredible Chanel Haute Couture coat from the 1960s. This piece is made from lightweight beige and white woven wool tweed and is embellished with warm gold tone metal round buttons with a woven motif. The jacket features a standing collar and two functional patch slit top pockets with faux flaps. Beautiful cream silk lining. As with all Chanel Haute Couture pieces, there are many seams throughout so that this piece can be expertly tailored to be larger or smaller. Haute Couture label with code (bolduc) # 42 271 hand written on back. Handmade in France. This piece has been dry cleaned and is in excellent vintage condition – there is some light staining on the interior of the left wrist, but cannot be seen when wearing. Fits like a US size 4.
