Gold and Brown Haute Couture Jacket and Dress Ensemble Chanel Couture

Fabulous 1960s Chanel Haute Couture jacket and dress ensemble crafted from a gold, sage green and light brown plaid tweed. The jacket is collarless with four patch pockets and stunning gold tone metal filagree buttons with lions head centres. Original silk lining with iconic Chanel Couture gold tone metal chain along interior hem. The sleeveless under dress has a yellow silk bodice with a matching tweed skirt. Faux wrap style and fastens with a front left seam zipper in the skirt, large hook and eyes at the waist and hidden buttons and snaps up the bodice. Designed to be worn as an ensemble. Haute Couture label with bolduc (style number) on back. Handmade in France. The tweed jacket and skirt are in in very good overall vintage condition. The silk on the bodice of the dress has wear, with some small holes throughout and wear at the underarms. The silk is very fragile. Sold with original removable silk cuffs, that are too damaged to be worn.
