The jacket has a dark boucle trim that is woven into the purple and pink boucle fabric along the collar, front placket, pockets and cuffs. Entirely hand sewn, the jacket is lined in a purple, black and slate horizontally striped silk and finished with a gold chain along the interior hemline. The jacket fastens up the front with classic lion’s head buttons which are also featured on the cuffs. Two front patch pockets with slit opening. The skirt is made of the same shocking pink and purple boucle and lined in the same silk fabric. Fastens on the back left hip with a zipper and hooks, pleating on the side, falls to just above the knee. In very good condition with signs of wear along the silk fabric trim of the waistband. Fits like a US 4-6. Similar suits in this unusual fabrication are well documented in several reference books.
